Katy Lynn Retzbach started Designs by Katy Lynn in 2015 full-time after having her first daughter, Harper. She took the leap and hasn’t looked back since! Since 2015 she has established her business, moved to Newtown Square with her husband and in 2019 had her twins, Andrew and Scarlett. Now she is keeping busy with her six kids, which includes two sets of twins in the mix. She is always trying to stay ahead of design by sitting on the board of the NKBA as well as sitting on the board of the IFDA as the President.

After graduating Drexel with her Masters in Interior Architecture and Design, she worked for a custom cabinet manufacture and found a love for details and millwork. In 2015 she decided to go out on her own wanting to design more then just the cabinetry. She established DBKL out of wanting to design clients dream spaces, whether it be a full house, kitchen, bathroom, or finishing a basement. Katy loves getting into the details of the design and continues to design a space for her clients that they enjoy calling home.
